Ghana to host influential Leadership Event

Ghana is making big strides in the endeavor for leadership and excellence. Transition Africa is hosting an event centered around leadership in the Ghanaian community.

This event, fittingly called The Leadership Factor, will commence on the 30th of June 2016, and will feature the Evolution Ladder concept. This concept is designed to shine light on the road paved and still ahead in the quest for compelling leadership.

Transition Africa, the organisers of the event, will have an interactive session focused on leadership, governance and sustainable development in Africa. Gracing the event is the Ex-President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor, and paramount chiefs.

Transition Africa’s mission is to develop and promote leadership development models to train individuals and groups of leaders to responsibly bring change to the areas of focus.

The Leadership Factor includes five speakers: Franklin Cudjoe; Dr Esi Ansah, Audu Maikori, Mr Raphael Obonyo, and Jesse Agyepong. The esteemed speakers have contributed greatly to their respective fields of business.

Franklin Cudjoe is the founder and president of IMANI Ghana. IMANI, a critically acclaimed center for policy and education, is a think tank of considerable local and international repute and significance. IMANI has also consistently been ranked the number one such entity in Africa and among the top 10 most influential policy think tanks in Africa for the past five years.

Dr Esi Ansah is the CEO of Axis Human Capital Ltd and also an assistant professor at Ashesi University in Ghana.The Axis HCL Group is a full service human capital development consulting group.

Audu Maikori from Nigeria is the president of Chocolate City Group. The Chocolate City Group includes popular music channel Chocolate City Music, Chocolate City Distribution, Chocolate City Events and Chocolate City Media

Raphael Obonyo holds the position of World Bank African Representative to the Youth Co-ordinating Board in Kenya.  He is also the co-founder and a member of the advisory council of the Youth Congress, a premier youth-led organization in Kenya.

Jesse Agyepong is the Marketing Director of Tigo Ghana (Millicom Ghana). He joins Tigo Ghana with over 11 years experience working as a marketing and sales professional, driving revenue growth for telecommunications, FMCGs, electronics and event management companies.

The Leadership Factor will provide the opportunity for the audience and greater public to benefit from the insight, knowledge and experience the speakers have gained and cultivated through their consistent strive for excellence.

The event targets to engage hundreds of young Ghanaians and a large online audience via live streaming.
