Candice Abrahams was crowned the 2016 Schwarzkopf Professional Mrs South Africa, at at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park on Friday evening.
The event was hosted by Bonang Matheba and produced by leading show producer, Jan Malan.
The event was attended by celebrities, dancers and designers, with entertainment by electrical string quartet, The Muses.
Aldytha da Silva was crowned first princess and Marlene Naiker won second princess.
Riandi Conradie, who raised the most funds for the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) during her tenure as a finalist, was crowned Mrs Charity 2016 and Pamela Marlowe won the Mrs Personality title, voted for by her fellow contestants.
Schwarzkopf Professional Mrs South Africa bills itself as the number one empowerment programme for married women in South Africa.
The women involved in the organisation are said to be ambitious and successful in their various careers. They are also mothers and wives of various ages and sizes who are doing great work within their respective communities.
The judges unanimously felt that Abrahams best represented her vision amongst “an incredibly talented top 25”.
This year, the Schwarzkopf Professional Mrs South Africa pageant and its top 25 finalists raised over R1-million for Cansa.
