ENTERPRISE54 – With International Women’s Day approaching, 8 March, Google South Africa has invited South African women entrepreneurs to apply for a Digital Business Manager Workshop.
Aimed at women who are embarking on a new business adventure, this free, practical two-day course is for women who would like to learn more about how to best utilise the internet to grow their business ventures. The workshop which will be held in Johannesburg over the 10th and 11th of March will focus on topics such as creating a successful web presence, how to market your business using social media, and how to best utilise digital advertising tools such as AdWords, GDN, YouTube and Analytics.
Core to Google’s mission is equal access to information, which is why it is committed to helping users of all backgrounds and experiences make the most of the web. This is why, when looking at how to mark this years’ International Women’s Day Google SA decided to embark on this project.
In addition to topics being covered at the workshop, Google SA says it aims to encourage women to start digital businesses and create opportunities for women in the digital business space.
